“Secreto del Sur” competes in the Spanish ice cream championship 2011

In early February 2011 the first official ice cream championship was held in Alicante, Spain. Eleven national participants were among the finalists during the important worldwide exhibition for professionals “Intergelat” from February 9th to 12th.

While representatives from the world press and the audience of the exhibition watched, the finalists were challenged by producing milk ice cream, sorbet and an ice cream cake.

Ansgar Voegele from “Secreto del Sur” has succeeded in winning an outstanding 5th place within the Spanish competition for ice cream parlors (“Campeonato de España de Heladería”). We are very proud – congratulations!
